MBA Applications: Does College & Work Pedigree Trump Merit? Featured
A very interesting and controversial article published by Poets & Quants, quotes Jana Blanchette, Founder of Inside MBA Admissions.
The thesis implies that a candidate’s undergraduate and company (work experience) “brand name” pedigrees trump consideration of a candidate’s merit during the MBA application process. Jana explains that “brand names” are an important consideration in MBA admissions, as these are indicators of future success.
